While this project has been stalled for a few months due to lack of time and unfavorable weather, I’m looking forward to tackling a whole new set of topics as we head into 2011… At this point, I’ve already got more than 25 additional subjects on the docket for filming, stay tuned for news via the usual channels. 😉

    Hi John!
What will be the titles of the 25 new films? Do you think they will be ready for the season? I have plenty of time, you know, to translate thanks for the weather. 😉

Hi Zsolt, I won’t give the whole list yet, but here are some samples:

      – Clockwork
      – Momentum and Inertia
      – Water Flying (in and out)
      – Dogstake
      – 360’s / Up and Overs

I’m also looking to do a series of essential indoor Rev tutorials as well, just looking for an available venue in my area to do the filming.

The outdoor tutorials will be ready as we find decent weather for flying and filming, no way to predict… With luck, the first of the new outdoor tutorials will start coming out in February or March.

Thank you VERY much for your help with the translations, really, can’t say enough… It means a lot to me, but I think it’s an invaluable resource for the folks in your country. 🙂

      Regards brother!

It sounds great! I can hardly wait them! I have an idea, please tell me, what you think about it. You know in my country there are no experienced fliers who I could learn or ask from. Do you think, you could make a film in which you just demonstrate all the maneuvres (e.g. sudden turn, horizontal climbing forward-reverse etc…) showing how the pilot use the handles picture in the picture? It would be great help!!
I have started to make a website to provide information on kites and kiting in Hungarian. Besides informing I really would like to make kiting popular in my country. Something like this or better 😉 http://www.drachen.org/. I’m going to link your site on my website so as folks could find their ways to your videos – hopefully you will have some new subscribers ;-).
Wish you good weather – the sooner the better 😀

    Zsolt

    • John Barresi says:

Aye, “exercise” maneuvers are on the to do list as well, showing a variety of specific movements and shapes that will illustrate a range of controls using the picture in picture method. 😉

      Thanks for the support Zsolt!
